World of Alpacas Overview

Promotion, education and passion for Alpacas

World of Alpacas is a high quality publication produced biannually with a mission to promote the Alpaca Industry not only in Australia but world wide. All owners and breeders throughout Australia and New Zealand receive World of Alpacas and have the opportunity to share their experiences through our editorial and advertising medium.

Established in the year 2000, we are committed to adding value to the Alpaca community through a range of resources and exposure to those who are involved with our industry.

It is your knowledge, and also that of industry experts, who can help us learn from each other in support of growing the Alpaca industry in Australia and beyond.

Hi everyone do I know everyone? Probably not.
This is not about Alpacas it is a little about self indulgence.
I took some Trevor time this morning, cup of instant coffee, a crumpet (one half of course you guessed - vegemite and the other half peanut paste wow I can hear you saying, it does get better!)
I have just watched a movie called Elizabethtown online, in this world of trouble pleeeeese take time out to view this feature.
Patience is needed early in the movie, listen carefully to the dialogue, living life, relationship's young and old (oops elderly) success, failure it is all in this movie. Happy, sad makes for good viewing my opinion of course
The last hour is so important no matter what age you are, funeral, music etc near the end there is a tree you need to be quick to read the signs. If you enjoy, let me know, if you don't it is only your opinion and I don't want to know πŸ₯°
This movie will not win an Oscar but hey who needs another dust collector. Stay safe and well. Trevor WOA

Hi to all πŸ‘‹

Please read the attached article from Adelaide Advertiser today (12/8/20). πŸ“°

It is early days however the unique Alpaca πŸ¦™ antibodies may assist in the research to find a vaccine for COVID-19. Scientists in Sweden started looking into this in June this year also.

Unusual routes have been taken before to find vaccines "outside the box" - and they could be the key to a scientific breakthrough. πŸ§‘β€πŸ”¬πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬πŸ¦™πŸ€©

Stay safe and well.
Trevor
